Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Patricia, and I was born in 1962, in France near the Luxembourg/Germany border. I’m the mother of two beautiful daughters, Adeline, who lives and works in Arizona, and Celine, who is studying to become a movie director and is a movie and photography fanatic. As for me, I have had many and interesting experiences: I have studied several languages and psychology, held many jobs and moved all over the country although I am quite happily settled now and sharing my time between Paris and La Baule.

I’ve started following David Hedison’s career a long time ago: 40 years ago, exactly. I was very young and loved “Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea”. Although I loved all the characters, I had a preference for Captain Crane: He was fearless and I admired his sense of duty. I have so many great memories of watching the show with my Dad, once a week on the Luxembourg TV Channel. We loved watching a lot of other American TV shows, but “Voyage…” was by far our favorite. It had intriguing stories and plots, the special effects were ahead of their times, we loved being frightened by monsters and aliens and admired the Seaview’s Crew’s courage and unity facing all these threats.

And one day, no more episodes were broadcast, and for a long time, I didn’t hear about David at all. Except for the two Bond movies, there was nothing on French TV, and we didn’t have the Internet back then… So I went on with my life. But during all these years, David was still somewhere in my heart and mind, just like a distant member of my family, and I thought about him from time to time.

Why do I love his acting so much? I love him because he has his own style. There is an Hedison style, or so I like to say. He can play so many characters with ease, and has a wide range of expressions. Standing amongst other actors, your eyes go straight to him. Not only he is usually taller than everyone else, but there’s also a certain “je ne sais quoi”… He owns his characters and really gets lost in them, he really acts with his entire being, his body is as expressive as his face. He has such a strong screen presence that I feel he could reach out and go through the screen at times!
